Town Hall Outdoor Co Code of Ethics
Town Hall’s Code of Ethics provides ethical and responsible guidelines that we use to run our company and guide our work with everyone in our community, from customers to vendor partners to advisors to our internal team and other stakeholders.
At the core of everything we do are our Mission, Vision and Values. These three foundational tools help us direct our business decisions, remind us how to conduct ourselves as a team and are our reason for being. We’re honored to share them with you and, by doing so, ensure our accountability to and adherence to them.
VISION: We want every kid to love outside.
We use the word 'outside' very deliberately because the outdoors can sometimes be exclusive, scary and unapproachable. Outside is the great equalizer. It promotes physical and mental health and should be free for everyone to enjoy. From ripping the resort terrain park to playing hopscotch in the alley, there is space outside for everyone. The more you love the outside, the more you want to sustain, maintain and save the places that you love to play.
MISSION: To inspire young and young-at-heart generations with purpose-built, durable apparel to build community and find passion in being outside through deep relationships and donating 3% of annual revenue to community non-profits.
VALUES:
- Environmental Stewardship: Confident, educated and impassioned people can move mountains. Fuel children with those traits and there’s no stopping what they can do. When they put their force into preserving and protecting the great planet that we are entrusting them with, those same mountains can be saved forever.
- Community: 1+1=3. When we come together with shared vision, love and concern, the power of our community is boundless. The community in which this brand is founded has carried us on its shoulders and now it is time for us to carry it on ours. Northwest Colorado is home to ranchers and bikers, doers and thinkers, movers and shakers; and we intend to keep it that way.
- Quality: Product can’t get in the way of kids having fun. We don’t tolerate holes in knees. We hate cutting ski days short because of the cold. Hand-me-downs should be coveted and passed along with grand tales of adventure that will last as long as the product does.
- Trust: When a child looks to their mom(s) and/or dad(s) and/or caretaker(s), they trust them with unconditional love. We don’t know everything. We don’t have all the answers. But, we are passionate, real people that care. We garner trust with our partners and consumers through transparency and honesty - in our products, our sustainability efforts, and our brand.

We believe in the Partnership Business Model. Retailers, vendors, factories, contractors, employees, models, customers and everyone that we interact with on a daily basis is considered a partner. Our relationships are not considered transactional. We partner to combine resources, share wins and challenges and learn from each other. Rather than focusing solely on short term profits, we prioritize building long-term relationships with partners based on trust, loyalty and mutual respect.
Town Hall is dedicated to making work and play fun, meaningful, safe and inclusive for everyone, regardless of gender identity or expression, age, sexual orientation, visible or hidden disability, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion or lack thereof, among other intersectional experiences and identities. Our community thrives on mutual respect; we will not tolerate harassment in any form. Likewise, discriminatory and/or sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any group affiliated with Town Hall when used during talks, workshops, parties, or via online media.
Town Hall will respond appropriately to any behaviors that do not align with values as outlined above in our code of ethics, up to and including investigating complaints and taking appropriate action. Thank you for taking the time to read our Code of Ethics. We debated making them more ‘playful’ and lighthearted, in alignment with our brand persona.
